Tom Thumb

We were having our traditional Monday night meal of Red Beans and rice. My husband is from New Orleans and this is tradition there. I usually pick up French Bread at Tom Thumb. I do pay full price, but it is fresh that day. Since I was already planning on making a trip I decided I might as well do some shopping and saving.

They were having several sales. Here are my results:

(4) Betty Crocker Fruit snacks for .99 Card Savings $1.80 Q for $.50 off two
            -final price .74 each - 73% savings

(8) Boxes Cereal General Mills $1.49 each Card Savings $1.95 each 6 Q’s for $0.75 off cereal printed – final price .93 each – 73% savings

(2) Lysol Bowl Cleaner $2.49 each Card savings $.50 each Q for $1.00 off 2
-final price $1.99 each – 33% - this should have been more savings, but I forgot a coupon at checkout

(2) Lysol Wipes $2.49 each Card savings $.50 each Q for $1.00 off 2
-final price $1.99 each – 33% - this should have been more savings, but I forgot a coupon at checkout

(1) French Bread 1.59 (No coupon)

Total Spent $20.09 Total Saved $32.80 Overall 63% savings
