CVS Shopping

Apparently little face did not want to go shopping today. So I had to try to make it fun. I brought new toys this time hoping this would help change up the shopping. Needless to say this was a short shopping trip at CVS. I just picked up a few items and we checked out. I could have come out cheaper out of pocket, but I really did not feel like breaking up the transactions. I have more to spend next time I visit.

Here is how I did:

(2) Gallons of Milk $2.99 (cheaper than advertised) - $1/1 Q Oak Farms dairy - Printed $2.00 ECB
- Final $1.99 each

(1) Green bag tag $0.99 - Printed $0.99 ECB
-Final $0.99

OOP $4.97
Received $2.99 in ECBs

I decided not to break them into separate transactions, since I wanted some ECBs for next week. I had the milk coupons and I was waiting for the ECB offer to get them. The milk was still cheaper than I can buy in the store with the coupon.

I just found out about the green bag tag. You can use this and you receive a FREE $1.00 ECB when you shop there 4 times and do not use a bag. GREAT deal. If you have the chance to pick one up this week, do it. It will be so worth it. The cashier did say you cannot us it for multiple transactions in a day. You may only use it once a day.

How did you do this week? Leave a comment or share a story below. I will have a linky availble on Friday. Please check back and LINK UP! Become a follower. Once I have 25 followers I will open a Facebook page.

Happy Shopping!

  1. I purchased my green bag tag today-which is an AWESOME deal. I was also soooo excited when I swiped my card at the 'big red coupon thingy' in the store and it printed out a coupon for $2 worth of ECB's. Woot Woot!!

  2. I am glad you think the Bag Tag is AWESOME too. I will not use bags anymore at CVS. So this is a win-win in my book. Sometimes I feel Extra ECB's is like winning the lottery. Happy Shopping!
